Did you look at Mike's photos Clan? Definantly says Misubishi Electronics on the Volvo part no lablel.

Ford have made their own units for some tome - although lately some are made by Sony, indeed they are actually Sony badged rather than Ford

Am going to have to be careful with getting a unit from a breaker as
the part numbers appear to vary.

These units are not interchangable vehicle to vehicle they are on a secure fibre optic network unfortunatly ( or fortunatly if your vehicle gets stolen ) The exchange prices have rocketed havent they
