Sat Nav/Phone: - Back To Reading Maps.

140 miles into a 3000 mile round trip to the South of France the Sat Nav packed in. (29140 miles)

Fortunately had an old map of France in the glove box, but still managed to get lost around the Antwerp Ring road, in heavy traffic.

At the Volvo Dealership today, where they tried to clean the head, but no joy.
Several downloads of software also failed. Now awaiting a replacement HDD unit for XC90 MY07.

While there, I asked what the update DVD cost? £240 inc vat.

PS. Piratebay do not have the map software for the HDD Unit, only the software (3 downloads) for the RTI System prior to MY07 - As far as I can see.

They should be fine for RTI up to and including MY06.
MY07 >, should have Volvo HDD RTI on the DVD.
