Will a saloon towbar fit an estate?

short anser is no they make one for estates and one for saloon

hi only yesterday i fitted a towbar from a t5 saloon to my old 2 litre estate easy must be identical

I fitted a towbar on my old 850 saloon and it was the same that would have been supplied for an estate. However, it did stick out a bit from the rear bumper as the estate requires a longer 'neck'. Some firms supply different bars, but the one I obtained did both.
