Default Auxiliary oil cooler for 850?

I have been looking for information regarding an auxiliary oil cooler for my 850 T5 auto, the car is M reg (95). I have phoned my local Volvo main dealer who states that no oil cooler is available for the 850, which did surprise me abit. I have heard the V70 classic may fit can any members please confirm if it does or not?

One of the guys at the last CB meet said he'd had the V70 Classic's oil cooler fitted to his 850R auto and it was a straight fit.

Cheers,
J

On a previous 850 I fitted a Kenlowe unit. Around £110, and an easy fit once I had found the best place to mount it.

Thats the one. It fits in series with the Volvo cooler, and its easy to flush the system at the same time, if you are so inclined.

I had a 850 T5 and found that when towing the ATF temp would get hot to the point that it would stay in third. I also purchased the Kenlowe cooler and found the kit very simiple to fit.
