I was of the view that there are not only a known but also no longer available.

£150 is indeed a lot of $ and my guess a 🐷 to fit ?

So that makes two of us looking for a sunroof cassette with a decent seal and a nice warm dry day !

Just seen RichardTD replied to your other thread with same link.

There are two types of seal, one for the glass sunroof and the other for the earlier all steel sunroof which, unfortunately, won't fit.

Best bet, as Bigfella says, is to get a glass from a later S/V70...preferably one that has been parked in a garage all its life.

Hi
Did you actually fit a new seal for a glass sunroof?
Very grateful if you could share any experience - how difficult to fit?
Any adhesive required?

I really want to clean/paint the frame edge and then put on a new seal - before rust really strikes..

Nick

I have a rusty sunroof with the seal coming away at the rear and preveting proper operation of the sunroof. I have cleaned the seal and sanded down the metal fixing edge

When I get round to doing the job I shall use CT1. I am in no doubt it will be a pig of a job and would not want to do the entire seal, I reckon getting an even fix all the round the glass would be very tricky indeed
