Volvo independants in SE (Kent)

Hello all

I'm living near Tunbridge Wells and i'm after a local independant that someone can recommend if possible for servicing and possible repairs.

As your in tunbridge wells your best bet is swauto's which is based at headcorn (just past leeds castle), so for you its just a case of getting on the m20 and turning of at the leeds junction and taking the headcorn road which will take you out to pluckly\smarden etc.

Many moons ago when I were but a wee nipper my parents used to have their 244 serviced by ROARD Autos in Bodiam. The ownwer was an ex Volvo trained mechanic and used to use a mix of genuine Volvo, pattern and secondhand parts to suit the owners budget.
I don't know whether they are still in business as we left Tonbridge some 17 years ago, but it may be worth a look at the Yellow Pages.

Just had some work done on my 240 at D R cars independant volvo garage
Mill lane Hellingly near Hailsham.
Nice bloke and quite cheap.

Charlwood Volvo near Gatwick is pretty easy to get to. Independant specialist. Recommended.

They're a bit far from you, but Robinsons in Sandwich are pretty good

If you're driving up towards town, there's always Parkside in Orpington. Now while I haven't yet had a service there, I'm new to Volvos, I have bought a couple of bits from them and always found them very helpful.

They are offering a full summer check for £30, which I think I might take up.

Hi,

I believe that all the Volvo main dealers should have that "summer check" offer.
They have in what used to be Speeds of Notts - now Stratstone..
