Default Possible XC90 purchase

Hi
Looking for another tow car after a bad experience with an X5 for 6 months, it's a 57 plate D5, althou sitting on 199k with fsh.....

I know from experience Volvo wears miles well as last V70 I owned I ran to 176k and was perfect, is 199k on xc90 just to many miles thou??????

As you know, it all depends on past maintenance....

well maintained with regular oil changes and good quality part replacement,,, preferably Volvo... they will go on and on....

I've had (manual) 57 plate D5 for 5 years, now on 165k miles.
The main annoying issues I've had relate to front suspension (pulling to one side, knocks, creaks etc) - almost sorted now after replacing most bushes / ball joints / swivels / shocks etc.
Engine-wise, other than normal servicing i've only had to change the swirl-flaps (common on the 185 engine). It's going to need a DMF soonish though. I think the autos are kinder to DMFs however.
