940 roof width gutter to gutter?

Hi,

Another question, I’m shortly picking up my new 940 and have spotted a roof rack, as if the economy isn’t bad enough already, but it’s a fixed frame type and the guy selling it doesn’t know which ‘big Volvo’ it’s off.

Might somebody be able to let me know the gutter to gutter width of a 940 roof please?

My advice would be to avoid it, certainly from that seller anyway.

If he's that vague about which Volvo it came from, it may not even have come from a Volvo at all.

Also if your 940 has a towbar, you'd be better off with a trailer than a roof rack for the occasional things you can't fit in the back of it.

Yeah sure, I did think that...or more to the point, he’s never actually owned a Volvo, who could forget that!
