If the past 3 years are anything to go by, late March. I managed to get a printed copy of the MY17 price list before if was online from a dealer around 28th March 2016. First MY17 models (D5 at least) then started appearing in mid-late May.

The above article refers to the next generation of Volvo cars, I don't think we would expect to see the next generation of XC90 for at least another 2 years.

What anotherv60 is asking is when the MY20 specification for the current generation is released, that is the current generation with pricing updates, miinor specification changes, and *possibly* a mild facelift.

See my answer above.

They don't have any rights at all. They can ask you and you can tell them no thank you give me all my money back.

Also I'd be interested to know what the MY20 changes are - doubt they'll be much but would be interesting.

Apparently 15th of April is when the MY20 start? Is that the ship date or order date?

I’m not 100%, but my guess would be that is the date the MY20 builds start in the factory. It was about then in 2016 when I ordered my MY17 XC90.

I'm only guessing that as they have AT1817 and AT1846 next to the user manuals for the XC60 on Volvo UK so I guess the two start dates are week 17 and week 46.

So I was off by a week :-)

No matter what the event is, they cant charge you a price over what was agreed with you during the sale. Of course they will try to charge you the 10% so that they have the problem solved on their end but its BS. Brexit will occur but consumer rights wont change in a way that you will stop having them.

If you think about it, the effect Brexit will have in the economy is exactly this one. Companies will lose profitability. If they actually had the right to change the rules of the game no matter what and charge you whatever they want, then there wouldn't be any economic crisis coming because the companies wouldn't feel any effect of Brexit.
Additionally, in my opinion, the economic effect will last for the next 3 years not more than that. I see forecasts saying that a UK recession will last for 10 or 15 years and that's just BS. UK is the 5th biggest economy in the world and therefore will recover from this sooner than everyone expects. But yes, it will be 3 nasty years.

Volvo Cars UK have some Brexit related advice for companies:

"Businesses should proactively start cutting management costs now, focusing on those that can be controlled"
