Default CD Player, front 12v socket no power?

Hi, just got a 2006 D5.

There appears to be no power to the radio/CD player unit, front 12v socket and rear parking sensors?

Is this a fuse related issue or relay or??

Not had time to investigate yet.

Car is a 2006 V70 D5.

I can't see any fuses on the passenger side as in the handbook? Under bonnet, at the rear and above the pedals.

The fuses in question should be in these positions

Fuses all fine?

I've read somewhere about a possible relay located on the cem? Any ideas which one?

The CEM on a 2006 car will have only internal relays that are soldered directly to the PCB, no plug in relays that you can change.

The only other thing you can check is the main fuses that feed the CEM/REM/Fuse boxes.

located in the boot near the battery

but if you have blown them then you have a major problem rated at 50/60A

I would check input and output of each fuse very carefully using a voltmeter.

Smile C E M (it hides another bank of fuses)

Have a look at the fuse panel on he CEM (its hidden above the pedals) a couple of TX25 screws to remove the plastic cover above the pedals, and then youll see it, its F11 (a mini blade fuse - Blue = 15A) supplies both front and rear 12v outlets. Had mine pop recently and after a bit of searching and the very useful info from XC70bob went right to the culprit
