IMHO the Hagerty price guide is pretty good, but Practical classics a bit out.
As stated above big difference between advertised price and actual sale price. Actual auction sale prices are a good guide as to what is actually going on. I also own a TVR and on pistonheads someone did an analysis of advertised price, private and trade, versus known sale price, private and trade, and auction price. This corelated quite well with Hagerty. Similarly, I think the Glass guide for more modern classics is also quite accurate. The easiest is to never sell. :-) |
