Just turn up on the day.

I always love to read the cards some owners have in the window telling the story of their cars. Usually make interesting reading.

Dai is write amazonite. The most interesting cars are always the projects. If you enter your car it means more people will see it, which means more people will chat to you, which means you will have more chance of finding out any imfo you wish to know. My car has a saggy rear end, the dodgy respray is starting to peal off the tailgete and it has all the genral lumps an bumps you would exspect to find from a family car that has coverd 190,000 odd miles. I still enter it though. As regards your question about history or notes on the car. I say do what you feel I always enjoy reading them but you don't have to. just roll up on the day fill out a form (you may have to be a V.O.C. member to enter your car I'm not shure) and away you go. go on be brave an do it.

Do you need to be a VOC member to enter the BKV does anybody know please?

You have to be a member to enter your car in the Best Kept Volvo competition, but you do not need to be a member to just attend the event.

I've managed to double book myself so I'm unable to attend which is annoying.

Administrators reply above quotes 10th - 14th June. Driver (page 12) has BKV as Sunday 18th June
