Default Rear bushes and exhaust

Changed the reaction rod bushes this afternoon.
One of the clunks I have seems to be the exhaust hitting the underside of the car.
It appears to be the top of the over axle bend. The middle box of the system also seems to make contact. Is there a bump stop of some sort above this box?
Felt like there might be, but I couldn't see very well.

Thanks.

There is no bump stop above the exhaust. Its a common problem with 200's and it is caused by the exhaust been fitted incorectly.
If your exhaust has been on a long time it will be very difficult to realign.

Thanks Dai.
It would appear that a new centre box has been fitted fairly recently and I was able to move things yesterday. It's better than it was, but still not right. I'll have another go when its not raining.

My 1990 DL has got a bump stop above the centre exhaust box. The bump stop is a (presumably silicone) rubber plug in the centre of the area the box contacts the floor.

Another potential contact point on this particular exhaust (non-cat) is the front end of the front box, which moves on its rubber hangers quite close to a step in the floor - the clearance will differ depending on how far the front couplings are 'pushed together'.

That sounds like what I thought I could feel.

Mine's got a rubber bump stop as well. After Kwik Fit replaced the over axle pipe, mine clunked, I got under there when I had time and undid everything to give me a chance to realign it all. The only clunking now is from speed bumps.......
