  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Maybe it does. I wouldn't consider it to be a bad thing either.

Mate,

Go for it, if you're willing to let it, let you down on the side of the road then why not.

The odd oil change would be a good idea but if you're "shedding it" just go for the cheapest none branded oil on sale not really bothering about the viscosity etc.

Quite a few years back I had an Alfa one of the guys there did something similar with his 145, he got 120,000 miles out of it until the cam belt gave up (60k was the recommended) not bad for an Alfa with their reputation. From memory he did the most economical and basic service he could each year and fixed MOT items only.

Guys on forums are normally very particular about their cars so you should expect some raised eye brows, your car, your money, your choice.

Also forces and as we say in my trade we need to be risk aware not risk averse!!
