mileage not illuminated

Hi guys sorry to bother you this problem has only just happened this morning i have a volvo s60 2001 185.000mileage the digital display for the mileage is working but not illuminating i can see the mileage and tripometer but it looks like the bulb has gone does that sound right or is there something else causing it ..also is it hard job to do myself to save some pennies its not causing any real problems at the moment but a annoyi g niggle lol many thanks anyone who can help.yours mark......

Easy to do, takes about 20 minutes. You'll find instructions on here how to take the dash out - you'll need a 'star' key - Halfords; and a new bulb to push back in the holder £1.80 ish from Halfords.

Is very easy to do.
