It is likely to be the Lambda sensors if I am correct. It can mean a multitude of things and if you take it to a garage they can plug it in and get a code from the system which will tell them what the fault is. If you have AA cover they can also do this remotely from the car system to the laptop in the van. There are several sensors one of which is in the exhaust and reads the levels. any change in levels will be reported and the sensor will light up the dashboard warning.

autobox
The light may have come because the autobox reached a point where the temperature was above normal, the best thing is get the codes read. A normal code reader should read the autobox ok.

I think the light was the transmission light. It has now gone so hopefully all fine.
another thing though, the rev counter when idling seems to rev on its own accord, only very little but when you start the car and just sit in neutral the revs kind of bounce at the bottom of the rev counter. Any ideas? |
