This is an old thread! You can put an older bumper on a facelifted 440. I had to to be able to fit the bodykit bumper:

Before (original facelift bumper):

During swapover:

After Swap:

How it looks (with bodykit bumper):

The only thing that won't fit is the foglights. The facelift foglights are different, so won't fit the bumper or mountings. You could probably get them to fit with custom brackets, but i just changed them over. The older foglights are better anyway, as you can replace the glass if they crack-unlike the newer ones, which are sealed units.

It's the opposite here-i see loads of facelifted 440/460 in the breakers, but not any old ones!

Good luck,
Dan

Thanks for the answer and the pictures, I wasn't expecting that illustrated answer to my question, but it sure helped me. It seems that if I'm just looking to swap the broken bumper on my car, and possibly sell it some time after that, it won't be looking too awful, although the original bumper would be better.

Hiya!

I know a lot of people are interested in the full bodykit so just wanting to let whoever know that I have the full bodykit but its fitted to my car so if there was enough interest maybe I could sort something out but please dont quote me on that lol because taking all the bits off would be a mission but I did notice the other day theres a part number inprinted on the bits of the bodykit so it would probably be possible to get it off a main dealer?? Not sure though!

Take care 440 fans lol
