The best thing for the sunroof is a glass one from a later V90 or S90. Try CP Motors in Tamworth. These are a straight fit and if you fancy making it electric, that too is dead easy. Later cars are prewired (from 1992 I think).

I have bought three headliners and paid about 75 quid each time, about 60 for the sunroofs.

The rear view mirror is an idiotic construction and the plastic cover always breaks both during removal and during refitting! i glue them back.

Great stuff. I may just go down the route that you did, as I hope to run my 740 for years to come :)

How long did it take for the trimmers to do the job?
