Cambelt replacement cost?
How much should I expect to pay to have my cambelt done by a none volvo garage..

DO IT ANYWAY. It's not worth the risk. You don't know how long ago it was done.
Honestly, for a hundred quid (or a tenner if you do it yourself) it is just not worth taking the chance. At least you'll have the peace of mind knowing it was done. Just look at the other thread in the forum about the snapped cam belt. £££££££££££££££££££££££££££ Regards Andy |

Andy,
I can't remember if i told you this when you bought the car, But the belt and idler were changed at around 140K miles. |

Hi Nigel,
Yes, thanks, you did tell me. The T5 is the first car I have ever bought and not changed the timing belt. Hey, this evening we were out in the T5 and my wife trounced a Focus thingy. I don't know what model it was but it was fast as hell. A big air intake on the bonnet and a loud exhaust. Anyway, she trounced it. I'll post full details in a separate thread as soon as I get time.
