Default Tough to get car out of PARK?

Hey,

Last night I drove an automatic V70 from -01, and it struck me how incredibly easy it is to depress the brake pedal, then move the gear lever from PARK to REVERSE/NEUTRAL/DRIVE. However, that made me think..

Back home I got an automatic V50 from -04, and while REVERSE-NEUTRAL-DRIVE works decent, getting the car in and out of PARK is rather tough. In fact, if we were to compare the two, very tough!

I were now wondering if anyone have any ideas why this is, or if it is simply because they are two completely different cars?

Thanks in advance!
