Default Front Nearside Vibration

Just bought a V70, 2011 D3 82Kmiles auto. Only Occasionally I get a Vibration that appears to from the nearside front, Like a wheel out of balance, but it doesn't really transmit to the steering. It will do it for a couple of miles then it goes away. It does come back usually when cold (ish) but really cant predict when or at what speed.
Some one suggested drive shaft?

First thoughts would be wheel out of balance, wheel out of round due to either a tyre fault or a bent rim, maybe bearings, maybe driveshaft, but you might get a better answer in the section for later V70s as round here we're pre 2000 and there can be some major differences in them.
