Exclamation Volvo 850 AWD Estate r conversion

Hi,

I am Robbie Francevic's godson, Robbie won the 1988 ATCC for the volvo dealer team in 1988 and also the wellington street race in New Zealand. In his honour I am wishing to complete this project.

I have, what I believe to be, the only working AWD Estate 850 2.4t in the country.

When I picked it up the body was converted to R as was the suspension and I have the 2.3 R engine sitting on my garage floor.

I am wanting to follow a similar scenario to HellMoose but probably not as hectic as his build as I want it to be very reliable for road use.

My ideal would be to extract anywhere between 500-600bhp through the awd manual transmission/drivetrain.

I am needing assistance of what to do with the engine to make it stronger and advice around best suspension and brake set ups.

This is unchartered territory for me and any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.
