Default 2014 V70 D5 SE Lux for sale

Selling the wife's car as we have now got a VW Touran for her (not as nice but more space!)

114242 miles but had replacement engine under warranty at 56k miles at Hull Volvo, engine is therefore on 58k miles
MOT until 22 July 2021
Just had a new battery fitted this week
Tyres are all in great condition with the fronts just being changed for the MOT
Serviced in July 2020
We had a full belts service done on the car in March 2018 at Volvo specialists Voltech, Glasgow.
(servicing always done between Voltch and local performance car specialists SVS Motherwell)
Full cream leather, heated front and back
Alloys need a refurb and there are a few scratches that could do with fixing, but there's no rust on the car.
Car in located in Motherwell

Looking for £7000.

Please DM if you are interested and I can forward my phone number.

I made a short walk round video - sorry for the wind noise! https://youtu.be/ycQ99GFxAzc

Photos should be viewable here https://photos.app.goo.gl/t8Yk2E1XYrheWL27A

Usually new engines are put in for anything but the old one actually wearing out.... could have been a timing belt/aux belt failure, overheating due to leaking radiator. Also - I *believe* that in some specific circumstances, Volvo will also replace engines as a precaution when a turbo charger has to be replaced.

Hi all,

Gave up on selling for a while there due to lockdowns etc.

Just had the alloys refurbished last week so going to stick the car up on AutoTrader in the next few days - if the rain stays off and I can get some new photos.

The head gasket went while still under warranty (lucky!) and the engine ended up damaged is what was reported to me.

Give me a shout if you are interested in the car and I can send some rainy photos.

I'll refresh the MOT if the asking price is met and a deposit is paid.

Is the asking price the same as last year?

According to AutoTrader, I should be listing at £7.8k and taking £7.3k. £7k still seems a pretty good deal considering it's not really done any miles. I don't think there are any manual cars anywhere near this price/spec/age.

I’d like to get a viewing sometime if that’s ok? Can’t send a pm unfortunately.

What causes the head gasket to go so soon?!
