Oh, and you can use normal cruise on a volvo too, where as the radar equipped vag cars are radar cruise only...

Don't have any photos to hand, but is nothing special, I just turned the spare wheel upside down, and slightly modified the polystyrene to allow for the tyre valve, then cut some down pipe (guttering, approx 100mm dia) to make up the difficte of the offset, and then the centre pin screws back down tight to hold the wheel again in place. Then just remove what you want of the polystyrene around the wheel (to the left and right). With more time, I would probably work something better for the screw down, but I was in a hurry! It just allows me to keep some things within the wheel and around it.. Never understood why spare wheels are always put in that way originally.. Plus the car has a better centre of gravity now too... Will help the handling!

This is definitely going to need to happen - I'm hoping it's usefully bigger - having tried a 3 series and sat in an A4, they really weren't any bigger, especially given the new Focus is already a bigger car (my wife quite fancies the Focus Active Estate but I don't want to pay £15k for a Ford!!). Many have mentioned v90/A6 etc, maybe I need to convince my wife? The silver V90 in the 'sales' thread looks decent...

Are you saying that as a plus for Volvo? I had radar cruise in a Golf and a BMW and once you get used to it its very good.

Interestingly my current VAG only has normal cruise....

son in law and daughter both had Merc GLCs and 2 car seats in that (for 3 year old and new born) virtually precluded anyone else using the back seat. Not sure a Passat or V60 will allow 3 abreast with 2 car seats....

If you want 3 in the back with 2 car seats look at an S Max.....or similar.

Hmm, the V90 is longer but I'm not sure it's much wider.

If you're "happy" or at least satisfied with the Focus then why not get a Mondeo?

I think you are on the wrong sub of this forum.
This is dedicated to V60 based on the SPA platform and you are looking for info on a non-SPA V60

What gives you the impression that the OP is looking for a nonSPA V60? The listing in the Wants section clearly states SPA V60.

Apologies, I should have been clearer..

Volvo cars that are equipped with radar cruise, also give the option to select normal cruise with no distance keeping. Sometimes, as much as I love the radar, it can be annoying in some circumstances, so also enjoy 'regular' cruise. All the VAG cars I have driven, if radar is fitted, it is the only option..

I've not once said I was interested in the non-SPA V60, and have even specified on multiple occasions that I'm specifically not interested in it.
