As you can see, its hard to see in there..

I have been thinking about these, thoughts?

I really do think that its more lose than it should be, but that could be just me not having anything to compare with, BUT, when i was checking the injector the other day and revving the car, when i got back round the front as the revs were dropping back off, i noticed that the whole mounting jumping up and down like it was on a pogo stick, pitching a fit. Does that sound normal? I can try to grab a video, but i have a feeling i am going to have to remove it to inspect it properly at the very least, remove the bolting, I did try the other day and failed but the way i tried was wrong, i tried to undo the top bolts on the support brace, evidently you undo those 2 from underneath using the top bolt as a stopper
That doesn't sound normal. I've heard that the poly bushes can cause more vibration in comparison to the rubber used in the original mount. However, people do use the poly bushes, so I guess its up to you... It'll probably be cheaper than a whole new part.

However, taking into consideration that its a torque mount in the engine bay, then I'd refrain from fitting a poly bush personally. I'd use them in suspension parts like control arms for example though.

That's just personal choice, so its up to you really.

I too can't see why poly would be desirable there - shirley it would just stress the other mounts because increased vibration?

I think its to do with the material that the poly bushes are made from that increases the vibration - They don't bend as much as regular rubber bushings, so they aren't as flexible. The stiffer poly bush would be good for the likes of control arms for example, but as I said previously, I wouldn't use them in a torque mount.
