Default P1800es

Hi Guys,

A heads up for a P1800ES that is going to be sold in a month or two. A guy I know in Denmark has a Californian P1800ES that he's wanting to sell, it's rust free and was in good condition before it was stripped down with the plan to change the colour, but hasn't been put back together so it's a bit of a project. All the parts are with the car.

The car is currently stored in a container in Denmark and Peder plans on getting it out and some pics in a month or two and then I'll post some pics. Peder is asking for £6500 for the car. If anyone is genuinely interested I can put you in touch with Peder directly or ask me any questions and I'll ask Peder for you.

Cheers,

Mitch

Some info from Peder. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll put you in touch. From the pics and from what Peder says the body looks solid which is a big bonus.

"Finally the ES is out of the container and had it's first wash for about
20 years! It's from 73 and it's a California car from new. The body is
rust free, but i think the doors might need a few inces at the bottom,
but that should be it.
It is sold as a project, but a very good project indeed. If i would
restore the car, i would dismanteld it and sandblast it. The paint ain't
very good and it's not it's original colour.

Asking price is GBP 6500,-

I have many more photos of all the parts, that i can e-mail if there is
any interest. Seats are as new and there is a brand new windscreen with
the car. As the car was parked 20 years ago it was driving without any
problems."

Just a thought, I am considering selling my '67 Amazon estate auto due to a few changes in my circumstances. I haven't had her very long, but I can't afford
To keep 2 classics so I'm keeping my '61 saloon which is a rolling restoration and selling my estate which is all there with 12 months mot and nicely restored roof rack.

Hi Simon, it's light blue, not the Volvo blue, slightly lighter, very good condition,
Full mot, tow bar, proper roof rack, spots, servo, altenator conversion, there is a photographic record of her restoration by the previous owner with invoices totalling £14000, lots of mots confirming the mileage of 142,000.
I intended to convert her to manual overdrive, but that would be about £3000,
I can't afford that and restore my 1961 Amazon so I have decided to sell the estate. Agreed value is £9000, I want £8750 for her.
I am now going to try and put some pictures on here...

It's a bit rich hijacking someone else's thread.
To keep it easier you should really create your own thread/ad
