V70 - Front Wishbone Replacement
Juast got the V70 through it's MOT with just front wishbone bushes showing as worn.
General opinion seems to be replace complete wishbones. Had a quick look and it doesn't seem too bad a job to do myself as long I as I don't take the main driveshaft out? Thought it might be worth a go as garage would charge a fair bit to do this for me. Any advice appreciated.

Just pop the axle out and move the knuckle out of the way... You'll be glad you did.

Cheshire D5's video takes you though the steps really well.
I changed the bushes in my late (steel arm) model but only because I've got a lathe to make the right tooling and hydraulic press to push them in/out, otherwise I would have bought exchange/new ones C |
