My car auto locks when I start driving (about 5mph) a bit like a taxi! Is it possible to turn this off using your Vida/DICE laptop?

Hi Cheshired5. As you are the resident Vida guru I wondered if you could help. I am running vida on a virtual Win 7 32 bit setup. It was working fine until recently and can now no longer connect to the online database. I suspect I need to update the subscription date and patch. CAn you help? I am also thinking about installing a clean 64 bit version as the VM option is slow and unstable. Is this something you would sell ?. Thanks in advance. Tim. 07770 322149

I don't know your model or model year so don't know.
When I've had cars previously (non-Volvo) with auto locking, it was switchable usually by long pressing the central locking button so have you checked the owner's manual?

I sell my own guaranteed working Vida and VCX solutions. I don't troubleshoot any systems I have not supplied.

All of the Vida files are self contained within the program so I don't know what online database you're referring to. Can you elaborate please?

If you have a 64bit host system, whether you run a 32 or 64 bit version of a vm makes no odds but I would recommend using a 32bit VM as it's a little lighter on system resources.

I can supply a 32 or 64 bit 7 Professional Vida VM or I can supply files for a direct native installation of Vida on a Windows 7 Professional system.
Either solution is £30.
