2004 '53' V70R - Fresh Import - 55,000Miles
Afternoon all! I am going to copy and paste the advert I've already written online, however if you search my name you will see my entire import journey with the car documented in a thread!
The Asking price is "ONO" and if someone here was interested, I'd be much more likely to do a good deal. This car really deserves to be with a Volvo Enthusiast! It is due to be listed with a car auction platform at the end of the month if it doesnt sell privately, and the asking price is about slap bang in the middle of their estimates. Abridged details:
Welcome to the Advert for my 2003 Volvo V70R. I truly believe this is the finest example currently for sale in the country of what is becoming a very rare and collectable car. I personally imported this (No dealers etc.) and have had it on the road since the beginning of December. In that time, I have made every effort to bring this car up to the standard you see today. I started looking for one of these back in the summer, and quickly realised an import was the best way to go. It’s well documented that Japan do not salt their roads, they do considerably less miles than us and look after their cars better in general. Furthermore, they appear to have bought the V70R in much greater numbers than we did, so there’s many more to choose from. This vehicle was a “Grade 4”, which is essentially the highest grade you will see at an auction for a car over 10 years old. It comes a FULL Japanese service history that I’ve mostly translated and can provide upon request, I am also happy to share the translated auction sheet. Furthermore, before export I paid to have vehicle milage verified, and a JUMVIA certificate will be provided. The paint work is free of marks, scratches, dents and stone chips. I have also had all 4 wheels professionally refurbished. Externally, this car is stunning and will put many new cars to shame! Inside, the interior is much the same. There is the usual wear to be expected, but the seats have no rips or tears and the dashboard isn’t cracked or distorted. There are no bad smells of smoke or pets, nor any sagging headliner trim! Again, this car is very clean indeed. The car has heated electric front seats, Climate control, electrically folding mirrors, cruise control, a Dolby Pro Logic Stereo, and much more! I’m happy to say that everything is working inside the car as it did when it left the factory. Mechanically, I’ve taken care of a few bits that needed sorting as well as some preventative maintenance. For the MOT, it needed a pair of suspension arms and some front tyres. As well as this, its had new wiper blades all round and new Brake pads (brakes bled while I was there, too). Therefore, all items that were picked up by my very rigorous MOT tester (fails or advisories) have been rectified. Further to this, I also did some preventative maintenance on the car. First, I completed 2 transmission fluid changes, this is something that must be done in order to ensure smooth changes and transmission longevity on the V70’s. Secondly I have completed an Oil service on the car, which judging by the colour of the oil it did not need, but I prefer to be safe than sorry! The car drives fantastically, with the brilliant FOUR-C system functioning as it should in all modes, and no nasty noises to be heard from anywhere! When I imported the vehicle, I took several steps to make it the perfect UK Car. When I looked at a lot of the Importers in the UK, these steps were often overlooked! Firstly, the dials were converted with new fascia’s so they read MPH as well as KPH. Secondly, I have swapped the Radio with a correct specification UK one (Japan uses difference FM Frequencies to us). I have however kept some things for their novelty factor: It still has the Japanese specification Sat Nav, and the ETC card reader. Both are easily removed should the new owner not want them. As you can see, I have cared for the car in my short ownership very well. Its fast, comfortable, practical and very dependable in all weathers. Due to a change in circumstances however I have to sell this one, but I have no doubt any new owner will be very happy with their purchase! Do not hesitate to contact me for more photos, and any other queries you may have. Asking price is £8,495ono Full Album of images: https://flic.kr/s/aHsmU1yKGa |

What a beauty and sensibly priced. I have seen a few of these for sale at this price with 160k miles on them.
Good luck with the sale.
