Default 97 v90

Evening all

I'm selling my 97 Volvo V90 with 121000 miles on the clock.

I can't upload any photos of it due to some token thing being missing from the pictures but if you're interested I can email to you or WhatsApp the pictures of it.

Good service history. Mechanically it is in very good condition having had its cambelt/water pump replaced within the last year as well as the auxiliary belt/tensioner and pulley replaced. It had a gearbox oil/filter change early last year. It had a full service at 115000 miles. Its fitted with 4 Cooper Discoverer all season tyres, again replaced within the last year.

The bodywork isn't perfect but it is in good condition for a 24year old car that I drove daily until a few weeks ago.

Drives very well for a car of its age, very very comfortable and smooth.

It is a 7 seat version which is fairly rare painted in a lovely Blackberry Pearl metallic colour. It has a factory fitted CD changer in the boot and a genuine Volvo plastic boot liner too.

The eBay ID is 333896126044

I'm looking for £2600 for it but I'm open to offers for it.

Any questions feel free to ask

With that mileage and very good condition inside and out together with the recent work done makes this very saleable. A lovely example worth every penny - best of luck with sale.

A very nice looking car.

Cat theft is rife at the moment. Mostly Toyota Hybrids like my Auris. Sorry to see your car has been a victim of this theft.

Looks very clean, low miles for a Volvo, cambelt service done.

Sure it will sell soon!

James

Do you think it'll still sell ok even with the cat missing?

Cheers

I think it will affect it, as can't take it on a test drive, apart from compound, or drive it back home as will be very loud and instant pull over by plod! Would need recovering back home or take a replacement cat, bits of pipes with you and bodge it to get back home.

Is a V90 a single pipe coming down to the cat or dual?
Found it's Dual. Not as expensive to replace as I thought.

At that price worth fixing. Auris Cat from dealer and fitting £1000 upwards!

James.

I don't see why not. New cats are listed from around £40 upwards and you have reduced your asking price by much more than the cost of a replacement. I agree with 'Volvo always, it should still sell.

Alternatively, why not get it replaced and stick with your original asking price? Would make the car more saleable - less hassle for the purchaser - and a better return for yourself.

If I was still looking, I would definitely be interested, but I'm afraid that I settled for a V70 instead when I couldn't find a nice 965 or V90 to replace my late 745 at the time.

Regards, John.
