Default Aux input

I have a 2002 C70 with standard radio / cassette and a remote (ie in the boot) six CD changer.

A 3.5mm AUX input would be a great upgrade, to connect my iPod etc.

Is it possible?

Thank you

Three main options. You can lose the CD changer and fit a Grom or Yatour unit in its place, you can connect an aux socket to the tape input (guide on here somewhere), or you can use an FM transmitter like this one (just an example) https://www.amazon.co.uk/Upgraded-Ve...eywords=nulaxy

I've gone for the FM transmitter option because it's the quickest and least invasive, although I tend to put the music on a USB stick rather than using the phone and if I do use the phone I connect it by Bluetooth.

I forgot about the fourth option, a tape adapter. The Sony ones are best if you go down that route.

Hi there,

I used this video to add a 3.5mm jack to my volvo c70 head unit, it was pretty easy to do, Ebay supplied the Jack for about a £1 and 10 mins work i had a really good quality input.

Give it a try

A fifth option is to wire a 3.5mm jack input into the tape deck. Paulk nailed the answer to this very old question.

NO CD Multichanger This was not standard but a £300 extra.
NO Heated seats These were standard on the GT so yours must have been changed at sometime. Do you have the switches in front of the gear lever?

I have the original 2003 sales brochure and pricing list so if there is any other info you need regarding spec ect just let me know.
