Question Do i have headlight washers

Hi, Over the years I have asked some dumb questions on this forum but this one should top them all. My 1998 V70 is fitted with headlight wipers and I have assumed washers as well but on close inspection I cant find anything resembling a washer jet. It seems strange to have wipers without water. Should jets be present or just wipers. Please remember that its people like me that make others look intelligent. thanks jack

They are built into the headlight wiper arm. I say built into, they basically clip on to the end of it.

Hi Cookeh, Thanks very much, have found them. I don't think they have worked for years. I shall clean the nozzle with a pin but should the pipe be blocked or fault at "T" junction, is it a headlight removal job to access. thanks jack.

No washer part itself just unclips, same with the pipes - they all just pull off. No need to remove headlights for any part of it, just trace the wires through the holes that the wiper arms pass through into the bay.

Cookeh is correct.

Get someone to work the washers whilst you watch. They activate on the cycle the headlamp wipers come on. My 3 have never failed to work so just check they are not working before stripping as the pipework is robust for these in my opinion. Headlight should not be required to diagnose.
