Info Volvo 960 3.0 24v

I have the opportunity to purchase this car. However I have been reading about damage that may be caused by a problem known as short run syndrome.
The car will be only run for two long distance holidays per year and just general commuting around town ect. Having only owned 740s and 480s a 960 is new to me. I would therefore be grateful for any info regarding this issue.

Give it a blast down the M5 once a month and do your servicing every 6 months regardless of mileage and you should be ok.
