Default V70 2.5 petrol or diesel...is there alot of diff in mpg?

As I'm considering selling the V70 for one (it's petrol I have) if it's night and day in comparison then it's no contest, but if only a couple of mile's in it then no point. Just to hear some veiws of some of you who have them, diesel V70 2.4's that is....oh and preferably auto's.

Hi,

Try a search for mpg and you'll find several topics on this subject.
Yes diesels will get more mpg that petrol, but I would expect the difference to be maybe 10mpg, or there abouts..

Driving style and type of driving will have a big impact on this too.

Des. . .
