I have done 10 or so laps this evening and my best time without touching any walls was 1'40.752. It's pretty easy to get below that if you use the wall at the bottom of the hill before the back "straight" but that was my best "unassisted" lap.

Great choice of circuit - one of my favourites.

Just to clarify, does just a light nudge on a wall disqualify you or is it only if you slam into it (i.e. bad enough to fail a license test or get a 5 second penalty in the special condition races? )

On my best lap so far I almost lost it on the 2nd sharp left hand corner on the downhill section and just scraped the wall on the exit - not bad enough to make a bang but probably took a bit of paint off, lol. Certainly wouldn't have helped my time though.

My best completely "clean" lap so far is 1:41.something

I still need to post a picture for last weeks time too....

Dunno about anyone else but my lap didn't involve any contact with the wall, came pretty close in the tight mid section but not a touch!

Yeah try and keep it to not touching anything, you say it probably didnt help your time tim but as was said the wall at the exit of that corner actually helps keep the back end in check even if you did just skim it, if you avoid the wall all together you have to watch yourself on the throttle as the drop away of the road makes the rear end prone to coming out.

Treat it like your own car on a real track day, if youd be gutted at it happening to your car, don't count the lap. Might have a few goes just now but have had a shandy or two so I doubt Ill do anything outstanding lol.

ok, I'll have a few more goes tomorrow pretending its my own T4 i'm trying to drive round there then

Just did a perfect lap, but was about 3 seconds off my best time, couldnt work out why at first , then realised I'd forgotten to tune it... doh!

Well I'm down to 1:40.8xx now, turned it off and have forgotten lol, no pic as yet as it will be something in the 30's that wins it, once I get under 1:40 I'll take a pic, I hope.
