Rear Wiper Blade - T4

Help, have just fitted a new Rear Wiper blade My Phase II V40 T4 and it does not sit on the glass at either ends of the wiper! It is the same blade as the old one which worked fine. Any ideas??????? Thanks in advance.

have you clamped the new blade tight at both ends, not just one ?

cause that would stop it bending to shape.

thanks for the reply. I havent clamped either end have just fitted the blade, will give it ago.

Pull wiper arm so its off window and where joint is file some of plastic away till wiper starts to hit window again,

common problem on phase 2 V40's for some reason

i had alot of trouble with motor i've just bought and found the only real cure was a blade off older model V40 all metal arm etc........
