This should be in The Lounge, not General Volvo Issues and Discussions.

I am against any tolls and I cross the Tay and Forth Bridge fairly often. Also the Toll Road on the M6 is great but I object to having to pay with road tax being so expensive.

Bridge toll
Hi
We have been trying to get the tolls for the Humber crossing reduced for years. It has also been tried to get some form of concession for those travelling for medical treatment with no luck. The reply from the PM petition was it has nothing to do with central government and it is a local issue. Out of interest how much is the crossing?, the Humber is £3.60 each way. Steve

It's £5.30 to cross the bridge (heading into Wales). It costs me just over £93 a month for a tag. Disabled can cross for free!!! So im sure if I had a mild disability I could get a disabled badge and cross for free!

Hi,
Quote:
Get a job in Wales?? While it does not appear to be "Good Value" for he crossing, that can be compared to the cost of fuel for the journey to avoid the crossings.. But then the government have taken more than enough to finance the bridge, the M6 Toll and the Dartford Bridge in maybe 2 years of road tax and fuel duty a nominal toll should be there I think. And deffo one for continental (Irish included) using the crossing... Des. . .
