T4 vs Type R?
So whats quicker??
Obviously a would say the Type R yeah? So a had a wee sport with one tonight...was about 4 car length's in front when ma right foot had a spasm,2nd gear planked it and so did the Civic. Over about half a mile a was'nt gaining and he was'nt catching,had a lane each on the Dual Carriageway too..... Just need to know people,just need to know

If it was the first model type r there 199bhp and have revvy engines there not that quick to be honest ive seen them leave the lights racing

civic is brisk but catch him off the vtec and you'll a spec in the distance.

Standard for standard defo t4, turbo torque all the way. But I only race type r with mods to t4 and battered it.

The mk2 type r is surposed to have more power

Phase 1 type r is better round corners than the phase 2 but not much in power terms. T4 might just have the edge when on boost but as said catch it out of Vtec and you'll be away!
