Good morning,

Don't know if this has been discussed in the past, but are there any good insurance companies left that also does agreed value?

I'm currently with Grove & Dean and they're awful.

Regards,
Henrik Morsing

I was with Sterling Insurance for agreed value on the C70 - part of the Flux empire and dreadful service. Now with Peter Best and exceptional service. Policy all set up online within 24 hours with no hassle whatsoever.

Peter S Taylor (now part of A plan) can set up agreed values:~
No great problems in obtaining this- photographs & description.
Salvage buy back is included, my Riley has been with them for over forty years and the 240/V70 for quite some time.

As an aside I would always get agreed value for a classic otherwise a lower book value WILL be applied by these companies.
Hagerty price guide is useful here for guidance and then set your figure.

Good Luck.
Regards Bob.

Just went through the Peter Best questionnaire, and it's just a comparison site/broker that supplies me with a long list of crappy insurance companies.

Morning, I have always used Peter S Taylor and they are brilliant. I am still with them for my Mini however, I changed to Peter Best (Hiscox) last year for my Saab 900 Turbo as they were cheaper and offered the same cover with agreed value. I have just bought a 1990 240GL and am again insured through Peter Best (Hiscox). Definitely worth a look as they have just sent me the documents including agreed value even though i have insured it as my daily.
