space saver wheel

Ok guys am thinking of getting a space saver wheel for my car but where can i keep it due to the battery is stored in the boot space Help .

What car have you got. My space saver sits under the cargo area cover with tools and jack inset into the wheel, the battery is at the side of the cargo area

What vehicle? Is it an XC90 T8?

If it's an XC60 the space saver goes over the battery.

Does the spare fit over the battery there are no midifications required?

Not sure (mine was specced with a spare wheel out of factory..) but I think the styrofoam around the battery is not the same..

Btw, not my car in the pic- this one has air - but you get the idea..

I had the spare added by the dealer.

No mods. required to the Styrofoam, wheel just dropped in place over the top of the battery.

The Styrofoam also already had all of the locations moulded in for the jack etc.

No change to the boot floor height either.
