very good thanks
only thing i would add to make the job easier is heat, blowtorch the sleeve will help release it. I have purchased a 5Tonne hydraulic puller, i hope its enough...

I'm a decent DIY mechanic and have a good tool box.
When I remove the drive shaft and angle gear will I first need to drain engine oil or transmission oil. My XC90 is 2005 Auto ? I understand the angle gear will loose a little fluid but I dont fancy dumping the autobox fluid on the garage floor. Finally does anyone have an up to date link for the puller ? Thanks
