Resonator pipe recommendations

Changed my resonator pipe from the troublesome standard one to one of the black tubes found on the bay.
It been on there for around 9 months, and now seems to be leaking.
Now this could be a clamp being a bit loose, but I wondered is it better to use one of the coloured silicone ones? It mentioned on the advert that they are the same diameter right through, but the turbo and plastic intercooler pipe and different diameters so that made me wonder.
Any recommendations/links gratefully received.

My suggestion would be to buy the correct pipe from Volvo.

Looking at the description it is not just a pipe, see

This one is from caffyns volvo and is genuine part.

If you look at the pic, you will see it is not just a pipe.

Just my suggestion and hope it helps.

I replaced the standard resonator with a good quality black silicon pipe 5 years ago and it's been perfect. 👍

I replaced the one on my previous XC90 with the silicone one and had no problems after that.
