XC90 Power Issues
I've recently spent just short of £2k to resolve an issue where the car lagging power on acceleration which caused stuttering, followed by the Engine Service Warning message and amber triangle.
Diag suggested MAF, Oxygen Sensor and or swirl valves. All have been replaced. When the swirl valves were removed they were badly damaged and the whole circuit was sooted. The throttle bodies have also been removed and cleaned along with the DPF. After all of this, this issue still remains. When I drive at low speeds the stuttering and juddering is more noticeable. If I witch to the manual mode and maintain engine revs at around 2K rpm it seems to be less obvious. My warning messages remain as Engine Service Required, followed by Soot Filter Full. The car is a 2012 XC90 type R, 2.4 D5, 145K miles, so its only just run in. Any ideas? |
