Washed , dried & waxed my xc90. That’s when you realise it’s a big car. 4 hours top to toe.

I've started a 2 stage correction and protection on my OH's XC90. Got the wash, chemical decontamination and clay bar process done today in around two hours... and it was very heavily contaminated, and the jet washer's bust, so was down to a regular hose pipe.

Polishing the big panels start tomorrow, and then the smaller ones and bumpers can be done on Tuesday when the smaller pads arrive. I anticipate my arms are going to ache!

Washed, dried, polished and very light 1st coat wax (Collinite 476) yesterday.... (S90)

3 hrs.

Was hoping to do a 2nd coat of wax today, however when I went out this morning it was covered in pollen and dried on overnight dew, meaning a wash was needed before waxing.....

My arms, torso and legs were killing me from yesterday - so I was kinda glad when it started raining meaning I had to leave it...... lol

Spent most of today giving my car some special TLC - I reckon when we are able to start normal driving again that the country will be full of very new shiny looking cars.
Must make sure my pension funds has shares in Car Polish manufacturers!

Unfortunately the OH has put her order in for the same TLC for her Mini that unfortunately is Black so requires more elbow grease.

If the weather's OK next weekend I may even treat mine to a wash - apparently it's a pine grey colour underneath the muck...

I am not alone then. Washed my XC90 and wife's Kia over then last couple of days. Spent two hours on each car. Good workout :-)

Hopefully tomorrow I'm going to treat the leather in my XC90 using the Volvo Leather Care Kit.

Think I might break out the foam lance this weekend. Only used a couple of times decided it wasn't adding much to the wash but as Ive got the time now!
