Default Oil coolers

Hello, does anyone have any experience of Mocal aftermarket oil coolers?

Cheers.

used them a lot on bikes (old oil cooled suzukis) they work well but you do need to mount them properly ie bolt both the top and the bottom mounts and ideally use a tie rod (studding is your friend here) between the top and bottom mounts otherwise they tend to stress fracture due to vibration.
is it for your autobox cos i might still have one that i pulled out of my car but it will probably need a bit of persuasion to get the in and out pipes off cos i just cut them off

Blimey, is this to try to keep up with our V70!!? Not sure if I've still got one I was going to put on the Spitfire 6 - mixed opinions as to whether it is a good idea ...

Default oil coolers

Hi there,

I recently fitted a Mocal cooler to my 70' Ammo...it's got to help to keep the oil cool, I figured our roads are faster..i.e more motorway than the roads of the Amazon's hayday 1960-70...

After our 'race' on the A69 I suspect I'll need more mods than that...

The cooler is for the engine, not the autobox, though it's because the lowish-geared autobox makes cruising a fairly heated affair.
