Default MOT opacity/smoke figures of V40/V50 without DPF anyone?

Hi guys.
I want to remove my DPF and here in Sweden the MOT could be a pain to pass if the opacity/smoke values are the slightest off.
The limit I have for my car is 0.51 (V50 2005 2.0D).
Can someone please share their smoke/emission values from a MOT on a car with the 2.0D engine that has the DPF removed or not fitted from factory so I don´t remove the filter just to be forced to get a new one come MOT time.
Hope someone out there can help me

Sorry I can't give direct figures but I know that the government would publish these figures as I have seen them for my 2.0D with dpf.

Do a search and I'll have a dig around at the weekend and see if I can find the booklet that I had froma few years back.

Fingers crossed I didn't throw it out.

Hi. I just checked 2 Peugeot 2005 + 2006 2.0 HDI without a DPF (same engine) on the swedish department of vechicles for emission limits and these cars also have the same smoke limit as my Volvo but without the DPF , so my conclusion is f**k the DPF and happy driving , just hope the tax man don´t find out , insurance companies here don´t bother with this mods as long as I don´t squeeze more power from engine.

i think the level is the same all over europe ( including the UK) and i think there is too many people doing the modification to not pass the MOT.

be wary of who will do the job on your car as the will to play with a lot of software in the car.

I will do all the work myself , have just designed , soldered and coded my own MCU based DPF emulator and will test the code this weekend (so no bad remap with cracked Ecusafe by some backalley garage ) , I also believe that an emulator is better then complete software delete because all the car sw can be upgraded by volvo (who also will not be able to see this emu in their diagnostics as the MCU acts like a working clean DPF) without risk and if needed the emulator can be removed and DPF mounted within 30-40 minutes and then car will be back to stock. The unit will be tested for 5000 miles and then professionally build in factory and for sale within 1 month (price will be approx 100-120 £ for the unit if anyone´s interested)
