Question Electric window switches needed.

Many parts recently sourced from Southampton car shops various, but no sign of usable window switches.

Does anyone have a full set for a rhd car?

I've given up trying to find new switches and have thoroughly cleaned the old switches; a massive improvement and my fingers don't now stick to them!

LHD ones are MUCH cheaper. I'm sure there must be a way of converting one to RHD. Might look into it once I've done all the stage 0 work on mine.

I've attacked the switches with alcohol wipes and the 30 years of grot has finally come away. I'll keep the switches the car came with now that I can bear to touch them!

Clean all you like, unless you don't intend using using the thing, it won't last. You'll need the 'hack' I wrote 'wayback' on this, and fit LHD. With the bug-fixes sorted, (more spark-supression etc) they're a better switch anyway.

I see my hack thread has been tidied to be simpler to follow, as above ^^^^. When I did this, it was work in progress.
