Starter motor bolts?
Hi Folks
Anyone know what size the starter motor bolts are for the 2.3l petrol engine. Upgrading my B20 starter with the more powerful starter. Are the bolts m10 x 100mm?

I'm not able to check just now but it would be wise to check they fit in the same mounting holes, i know some manufacturers use different mountings for the starters on autos.

The later 740 etc starter is smaller and more powerful than the B20 starter but they do fit, only the flange thickness and bolts are different.

That said, 7/16" is quite a thread size - just over 11mm thread diameter. I would think 3/8" would be more like it, especially if the heads are 1/2" AF?
