Default MY2014 V40 CC D2 Auto - sell or go for high miles

Hi chaps, looking to hear from people with experience, good or bad, of this car.

It is the 1.6 D2 (D4162T) which is the PSA lump and the Powershift MPS6 auto box. It is now sitting at 73k miles with no problems whatsoever.

I bought it for the wife 3 years ago at 35k miles, she does a 50 mile round commute in it on fast A-road (60-70mph), that makes up 90% of its miles. It has been serviced every year/12k miles, mostly by Volvo apart from last service at Volvo specialist. Only thing is first gearbox service was done at 50k instead of 36k (due to the car dealership servicing it at that point and me not knowing better).

If I had done enough research before buying I am not sure I would have bought that engine and gearbox pairing... both seem to have a fair few horror stories. So I am considering selling while it is still worth something and before I have to pay for another gearbox service and cam belt change - both due at about 85,000 miles. Priority for this car is comfort, reliability, safety, auto gearbox and economy so would likely replace with an Auris hybrid if I did sell it.

Any thoughts? Have people got this engine and gearbox to high miles without issue? We like the car just really want to avoid paying for the expensive servicing and then having a £4K bill when the car is worth nowt.
