3" FDP for V70R AWD

Has anyone actually fitted a 3" FDP for the V70R AWD RHD car. AS far as I can see no one actually makes one, so is the only route custom made.

Hi Karl

Am I right in assuming you need the 3" pipe from the Turbo down? If so, Don at Kalmar Union advertises one on his site..If I have got the wrong end of the stick.....apologies!!!!!

By the way..saw the pics and vid from Silverstone. Nice one! Especially the Caterham killing in the Vid!!!

Don does them but not for the AWD - that is the problem and he does not know of anyone who does.

These people custom make exhaust systems so, they may be able to help on a downpipe for the AWD.

Karl,

Ferrita do a system for AWD model with performance CAT - only 2.5" though but maybe worth a try.

I will have a search around. I had an email from another member back a while ago which featured all the modifiers and suppliers of performance parts inculding exhausts for these cars. I will find this when I get home and forward onto you if this helps.

Also, can you advise me please? I know you have a RICA chip upgrade in your car. I am going to do an ECU upgrade on mine when I get all the other nightmares sorted (next week hopefully!). I have been looking at the TME system. Do you know how this compares with your system and are you pleased with the result on yours?

Thanks but this is a LHD car - lots of downpipes for those - I need one for RHD car.

Hi Karl

Just had a conversation with Volvo Tuning in Bromsgrove. Apparantly, they can do a 3" FDP for the RHD AWD but, it's a custom made job and is about £1,000!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't think I'll be doing that one!!
